A licensed Restaurant set in a 400 year old barn at the foot of the Black Hill (Cat's Back) in the Black Mountains.

Open every evening during Hay Festival & welcome bookings for breakfast & lunches throughout.

We welcome bookings for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner throughout the year from a table of 2 - 60ish or if you require a venue for a private party we are happy to be flexible to your requirements.

What better way is there to enjoy the stunning landscape and scenery or the local art exhibited on our walls than from the comfort of our farm restaurant with a quality farmhouse meal, a good glass of wine or local cider and our excellent service?

If you're looking for something unusual in the hills then why not try our Unique Farm ChipShop open every Thursday 5.00 - 7.30pm, where you are welcome to takeaway or stay and out of the paper while having a drink from the bar.

Walking, wildlife, birds & scenery

An ideal retreat for walkers as footpaths leave direct from the farm to the Black Mountains, part of the Brecon Beacons National Park with the Cat's Back ridge (Black Hill), Offa's Dyke Path, Hay Bluff and the Monnow Valley Walk there are plenty of birds, wildlife and scenic views to discover.

There is also discussions going on about this area becomming an A.O.N.B so why not come and see for yourselves and see what you think.

Using naturally reared meats from our working family farm and the freshest local vegetables we prepare delicious farmhouse recipes for our guests in our restaurant and bed & breakfast.
